You will find the Vein Specialists of the South, LLC office at 556 Third Street in historic downtown Macon. Home to the first Sears Store in Macon (circa 1929), since then it had multiple uses until being abandoned in the 1990s and purchased by Dr. Harper in 2000. You can see the bank vault door in the Spa Medical^® lobby. Many of you have shared your remembrances of 556 Thirds Street with us. We love hearing your memories. For more information check out the old photos and news clippings on display in the lobby. After acquiring the building in 2000, historic renovations were completed in 2002. It is now the home to Vein Specialists of the South, Spa Medical^®, and the Comprehensive Vein Training Center^®. Our vision at Vein Specialists of the South is for you to enjoy ‘Better Veins for Life®.’ We add value to life by providing the best vein care designed to meet individual needs, delivered with ‘WOW’ service. Driving Directions

From I-75 North or South

Take exit 163 for Mercer University Drive. Turn Right at the end of the exit ramp. Continue on Little Richard Penniman Blvd. Continue onto 2nd Street. Turn right onto Plum Street. Turn left onto Third St. Our building is 556 Third Street, a blonde building on the right. If you reach Poplar St you have gone too far.

From I-16 West

Take Martin Luther King exit. Turn left off exit ramp. Continue on MLK Blvd and turn right on Plum Street. Go one block then turn right on Third Street. Our office is 556 Third Street, a blonde building on the right. If you reach Poplar street you have gone too far.

From Highway 22 South (Gray and Milledgeville)

Continue on Highway 22/Gray Highway, passing under I-16. Turn left at red light on Riverside Drive. Turn right at the third red light on Third Street. Proceed through 4 red lights. When you cross over Poplar St, our office is 556 Third Street, a blonde building on the left. There is a turn lane at the end of the block that will allow you to circle around and approach the front of the building.

From Vineville Avenue

Continue on Vineville Ave east toward downtown Macon. After crossing I-75, turn left on College St. At the next red light turn right on Washington Ave. At next red light continue straight past City Hall. You will cross over Second St. and will be on Poplar St. At next red light turn right on Third Street. This is a divided road. Our office is 556 Third Street, a blonde building on the right.
